Frequently asked questions
How does the 14-day free trial work?
Every new company starts with a 14-day free trial. You do not need a payment card to begin. You can use the full product during the trial and choose a plan on the Billing page at any time.
Can my accountant work in my company?
Yes. Invite your accountant as a user on the Users page and choose the Accountant role: books, VAT and reports, without inviting users or changing billing. If your accountant works in an accounting firm workspace in RTS Book, you approve the firm's request on the Firm Access page and can revoke it at any time.
Can I import my data from another accounting platform?
Yes. The Import screen brings across customers, suppliers, products, the chart of accounts, opening balances and transactions from files exported by another accounting platform. Import them in the order the guide gives, so each file finds the records it refers to.
Does RTS Book file my VAT return for me?
No. RTS Book prepares the VAT return figures from your books, box by box, for you or your accountant to review. You then file the return yourself in EmaraTax. RTS Book is designed for professional review before filing.
Where is my data stored and who can see it?
Your accounting data and documents are stored on Amazon Web Services, encrypted at rest and in transit. Inside RTS Book, each person sees only the companies they are a member of, and only what their role allows. An accounting firm sees a company only after that company gives it access.
