Import your accounting data into RTS Book
RTS Book is a UAE-first cloud accounting platform that lets you migrate your existing accounting data — customers, vendors, items, chart of accounts, invoices, and expenses — from other accounting software, so you can move to a UAE tax-ready system without re-entering everything by hand.
What you can import
| Data type | Notes |
|---|---|
| Customers | Names, contact details, TRN, opening balances |
| Vendors / Suppliers | Names, contact details, TRN, opening balances |
| Items / Products | Name, description, rate, tax settings, inventory flags |
| Chart of Accounts | Account name, code, type, parent account |
| Invoices | Line items, tax, totals; source invoice number kept as reference |
| Expenses | Category, tax, amount, vendor |
| Payments | Payments received and payments made |
| Credit notes | Sales credit notes |
How the migration works
- Export your data from your current accounting software as CSV files.
- Upload the files to RTS Book's import screen.
- RTS Book validates each file and maps the columns to the correct fields.
- You review a preview before anything is saved.
- Confirm, and your data is imported in the correct order (reference data first, then transactions).
Built for UAE tax records
RTS Book keeps your imported records in a UAE tax-ready structure with a full audit trail. TRN is required on VAT-bearing invoices, amounts are handled with exact arithmetic, and unsupported or malformed data is clearly refused rather than silently changed — so your books stay accurate. RTS Book is designed for professional review before filing.
FAQ
- Can I import from other accounting software?
- Yes. RTS Book supports data migration from other accounting platforms, including customers, vendors, items, chart of accounts, invoices, expenses, payments, and credit notes.
- Will my original invoice numbers be kept?
- Yes. Imported invoices are stored with your source invoice number kept as a reference, so you can always trace back to the original.
- Do I need a technical person to migrate?
- No. You export CSV files from your current system and upload them; RTS Book validates, maps, and previews the data before anything is saved.
